Divertimenti Invernali

In and around my village there are 40 cm (1 ft. 4 in. for the Metrically Challenged Persons) of snow and the temperature fell to -11 °C (14 °F, MCP) last night. So, to kill some time after dinner, the three of us jumped into a small Suzuki offroad - with reinforced bumpers and bodywork, stiffer shocks, front seats taken from an Alfa 145 and winter tyres - to do some stunts, slides, power slides and handbrakes on the snow covering the dirt roads around here and the icy tarmac roads (there wasn't much traffic as you can guess). Of course we got stuck into a big mound of snow, so me and my mate had to climb onto the rear bumper to load the rear wheels and finally get out of there. I should do these things more often.
